1.5 million Moderna vaccines arrive in the island on Friday

The Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi states that 1.5 million Moderna vaccines will be brought to the island next Friday (16) under the covax facility.

Accordingly, 750,000 of them will be given as the first dose and the remaining 750,000 will be given as the second dose a month later, the Minister further stated.
