The Minister of Health Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella has issued a new gazette notification setting a maximum retail price for 60 types of drugs.

It is reported that the prices of about 450 medicines including medicines and painkillers for diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure have gone up.
