A Sri Lankan girl has been selected in the final 17 of the 2023 astronaut team.

Sadani Kumarasinghe a Sri Lanka girl has been selected as one of the last 17 people to be selected to the astronaut team under the Dear moon project.

Seventeen of the one million applicants from 249 countries have so far been selected for this program and 08 of them will be getting this unique opportunity.
