A team to provide legal advice on the investigation into the girl who died at Bathiudeen’s house.

The Attorney General has appointed a team led by Deputy Solicitor General Dileep Peiris to provide legal advice regarding the investigation into the death of a 16-year-old girl at the residence of former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.

The decision was taken following a discussion convened by Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon and other officials at the Attorney General’s Department yesterday(22).
