Aid programme for needy Palestinians in Gaza

The Zahara Foundation has launched an aid programme to provide dry rations and other food items to needy families in the Gaza Strip in Palestine affected by the conflict. The foundation headed by Sri Lankan philanthropist and entrepreneur Mohamed Fazul Jiffry has engaged in similar endeavours in Sri Lanka and in several countries in South Asia over the years.

The foundation will continue humanitarian assistance programmes in Gaza for the conflict affected which were mainly initiated during the tenure of former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Palestine Fawzan Anwer.
