An investigation by the Child Protection Authority regarding the girl who died at Bathiudeen’s house

The National Child Protection Authority has also commenced an investigation into the death of a 16-year-old girl who died of burn injuries while working as a servant in the house of former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.

The Chairman of the National Child Protection Authority Prof. Muditha Vidanapathirana further stated that he hopes to investigate whether child labor has been used illegally.
