Cabinet approval to procure materials locally for hospitals

The Cabinet has focused on purchasing the annual surgical gauze requirement of the Medical Supplies Division from local small-scale entrepreneurs.

Accordingly, Cabinet approval has been granted to purchase 30 million meters of surgical gauze for the year 2021 from 461 local suppliers at a cost of Rs. 774 million.
