Cabinet passes new bill to facilitate oil and gas exploration in Mannar

Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila states that the bill pertaining to the project to explore oil in the Mannar Basin will be presented to the Cabinet next Monday.

The Minister further stated that this will facilitate the process of finding oil and gas resources while participating in a program on a private television channel today.
