Ceremony to mark the commencement of duties held by NHDA

The official ceremony to mark the commencement of duties of the public service of National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) was held yesterday.

All the employees of NHDA head office and 24 District Housing office employees joined the celebration through the Zoom online system. Attorney -at Law and NHDA Chairman Rajive Sooriyaarachi observed two minutes of silence to commemorate the war heroes and others who sacrificed their lives. The Chairman also engaged in religious observances and also read oaths of public servants.

The Chairman during his speech to the employees said that they should come up with new ideas to make the institution a profit making one.
