In a bid to increase tourism from China, Chongqing Airlines has resumed its operations to Colombo, offering three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The route, which includes a stopover in Malé, connects Malé, Colombo, and Chongqing providing seamless travel options.
Acorn Aviation Ltd., is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Chongqing Airlines in Sri Lanka.
This re-launch is expected to strengthen tourism and investment ties between China and Sri Lanka, with convenient onward connections through partner airlines.
