Compensation begins for fishermen affected by Express Pearl.

M.V. The first phase of compensation payment to fishermen in the Colombo District who were damaged due to the burning of the Express Pearl began yesterday (23).

It is reported that 1,171 fishermen in the Moratuwa Divisional Secretariat have qualified to receive compensation.
