Dengue control programme at exam centres before A/Ls

A special dengue control programme has been initiated jointly by Health and Education authorities ahead of the upcoming 2023 GCE Advanced Level Examination in January focussing on examination centres.

A dengue control programme will be conducted at all examination centres across the country until December 31 prior to the commencement of the examination aiming to ensure a dengue free environment. The exam is scheduled to be held from January 4 to 31 countrywide.

The prevailing weather conditions for over a few months has helped created an environment conducive for dengue mosquito breeding that needs urgent attention.
