Dineka Dinanjali a promising spiker

Twelve year old grade seven up and coming all round volleyball player and this year under 13 Best player of DSI All Island Volleyball Tournament Dineka Dinanjali has brought honour and glory to her alma mater Dhammissara National School Nattandiya with her deeds in the field of Volleyball.

Dineka who hails from Nattandiya was born on May 10 2011 and admitted to her present school grade one in 2017. Her

Parents Mahesh Sanjeeva and Anusha Kumari noticing that she is talented in volleyball handed over their daughter to school Prefect of Games Keerthi Jayasekera and she immediately came under Haritha Gishan. She missed the years 2020 and 2021 due to Corona Virus and in 2022 playing in the Divisional, Zonal, District and Provincial they swept the board and became champions and in the DSI Tournament under Eleven they were the Runners up and this year going through the whole procedure and winning the tournaments they participated for the under 13 All Island DSI Tournament under Mrs.Sanjeevani Femando they were the All Island Champions and Dineka was adjudged as the Best Player of the tournament 2023.
