DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort welcomes festive season

DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort welcomed the Christmas season on December 16, with their annual Christmas tree lighting held at the resort’s lobby.

The occasion was graced by Dayan Nawagamuwa, Hotel-in-Charge, with Resort staff, guests and members of the local community.

Adding a special blessing to the evening, Rev. Fr. Asiri de Silva, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Hambantota, attended the event, joined by the Sisters of the Holy Angels Convent in Hambantota.

The evening was made even more memorable with heartfelt carols performed by the local community and the talented Resort team, adding a melodic touch to the festivities.

The beautifully adorned tree and warm festive ambiance reflected the Resort’s commitment to spreading joy and togetherness, marking the beginning of a season filled with celebration and cheer.
