Dr. Chandima Jeewandara – “One dose does not provide protection”

Dr. Chandima Jeewandara(University of Sri Jayewardenepura) says that the effective antibodies of those who took the first dose of the Covid vaccine and did not take the second dose have dropped by 26 percent.

He also noted that after 16 weeks, there was a significant reduction in the antibody protection of individuals who took only one dose.

Dr. Chandima Jeewandara further stated that there is no protection in one dose and it is very important to take both doses.
