Dr. Samadhi Rajapaksa – “People who smoke have a high risk of contracting the Covid virus”
Dr. Samadhi Rajapaksa, Chairman of the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol says that a person addicted to tobacco is 14 times more likely to be infected with the Covid-19 virus than non-smokers.
He points out that other people who stay close to smokers may experience the same effects.
Dr. Samadhi Rajapaksa further stated that such people are at a very high risk of becoming infected when they are infected with the Covid virus.
