EC gets 99 election related complaints till Monday

The Elections Commission (EC) noted that 99 complaints have received as of 5 p.m. on Monday (5) from July 31, pertaining to the Presidential Election scheduled to be held on September 21. According to the EC, the National Centre for Election Complaint Management and District Centre for Election Complaint Management have received these complaints for the period of five days. Accordingly, the National Centre for Election Complaint Management has received 68 complaints while the District Centre for Election Complaint Management has received 31 complaints totaling 99.

However it is significant that no complaints have been received relating to acts of violence since all complaints received thus far are related to breaches of election laws.
