‘Enterprise Super Fair 2024’ at Kalutara concludes

Kalutara District Secretariat Small Scale Business Development Unit and Kalutara Divisional Secretariat Division jointly organized ‘Enterprise Super Fair -2024’ trade fair held on December 22 and 23 at the outdoor premises of the Kalutara District Secretariat, premises ended successfully.

The aim and objective of this exhibition was to expand the sales opportunities of the entrepreneurs in the Kalutara district. Targeting the festive season, consumers were able to buy high quality products at the exhibition ground at cheaper prices than the normal market prices, because consumers had an opportunity to directly meet the producers without intermediaries at this exhibition ground.

Covering all the 14 Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the Kalutara District, many high quality products such as garments, food items, fancy goods, sweets, footwear, children’s clothes, perfumes, kitchen-wear, spices, kitchen utensils, rubber products, packed-spices, cane-wear and cane products, reed -products, hand bags, ladies’ garments and many more locally made high quality products of many local entrepreneurs were seen at this exhibition ground.

Addressing the inauguration of the Enterprise Super Fair, Kalutara District Secretary Janaka K. Gunawardena said that similar events would be held in the future to expand and widen district entrepreneurs’ business reach.

He further stated that during an economic crisis, strengthening entrepreneurs is a great help for the country.
