Focus on levying taxes on goods imported online.

Trade Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena said in Parliament today (20) that attention is being paid to levy taxes on goods imported online.

He was responding to a question raised by MP Mohammad Muzammil.

Mr. Muzammil pointed out that there are many problems with the quality of goods imported from online trade.

He further said that the e-commerce trade has grown rapidly at present and special attention should be paid in this regard.
