Fuel, LPG prices rise

Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) revised fuel prices with effect from 5.00 am yesterday.

Accordingly, Petrol Octane 92 will be increased by Rs. 20 to Rs. 366 per litre, while Petrol Octane 95 has been increased by Rs. 38 to Rs. 464 per litre.

Auto Diesel has been increased by Rs. 29 to Rs. 358 and Super Diesel by Rs. 41 to Rs. 475.

The price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs. 11 to Rs. 236 per litre.

Lanka IOC has also decided to increase fuel prices in line with the new Ceypetco prices.

Sinopec too has revised the prices of its petroleum products.

Accordingly, Sinopec has announced that Petrol Octane 92 will be increased to Rs. 363 per litre, while Petrol Octane 95 will be increased to Rs. 464. Auto Diesel will cost Rs. 355 per litre and Super Diesel has also been increased to Rs. 475 per litre.

The price of Litro domestic LP Gas was increased with effect from yesterday.

Accordingly, the price of the 12.5 kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 685 to Rs. 4,250 while the price of the 05 kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 276 to Rs. 1,707.

The price of the 2.3 kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 127 to Rs. 795.
