Instructions from acting IGP to night time inspection officers

Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasooriya has directed all police officers conducting nighttime vehicle inspections to wear reflective jackets and gloves, according to the Police Media Division.

Additionally, officers have been instructed to exclusively use designated red signal torches to stop vehicles during nighttime operations.
