Joseph Stalin challenges to Sarath Weerasekera.

The Minister of Public Defense Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera had stated on Monday (July 12) that the leader of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union and others were sent to quarantine after obtaining a list of public health inspectors.

Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera, the Minister of Public Defense, has been challenged by the General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers Union Joseph Stalin to publish an official document validating the detention of himself and others who launched protests against the militarization of education.
