Lebanon dark due to lack of dollars – power cut

Two of Lebanon’s leading power companies have suspended power generation due to non – payment in US dollars for electricity purchased by the Lebanese government. The two companies have been out of power since last Friday, disrupting about 40 percent of Lebanon’s power supply.
