Mattakkuliya St. Mary’s Church feast on Sunday

The163rd feast of St. Mary’s Church Mattakkuliya will be celebrated on Sunday (8).

The theme is ‘Through unity as one parish family, let us be pleasing in the presence of the Lord’.

The Novenas which began on December 1 will continue till Sunday (8) at 6.30 p.m. daily. The Vespers service will be held on Saturday (7) at 7 p.m. presided over by Rev. Fr. Rohan Silva with the participation of provincial priests.

The festive High Mass will be celebrated on Sunday (8) at 8 a.m. in Sinhala and the Holy Mass in English at 10 a.m.

The procession carrying the statue of Our Lady, the Mother of Christ will leave the church premises at 5 p.m. and parade the environs of the church.
