New 18 liter gas cylinder price was reduced.

The Cabinet has approved to reduce the price of a new 18-liter gas cylinder to Rs. 1150. Accordingly, the maximum retail price of a gas cylinder in the Colombo District has been set at Rs. 1150.

The Cabinet also approved to decrease the weight of this gas cylinder to 9.5 kg as it has caused many problems in the recent past.
