New Finance Minister decides to import chemical fertilizers!

The new Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa has decided to relax the government’s decision to suspend the import of chemical fertilizers. Accordingly, it has been decided to allow the importation of chemical fertilizers subject to restrictions, until the process of producing organic fertilizer is completed and the country begins to produce the required organic fertilizer.
