Nomination Day at BASL

The nominations for the posts of President and Secretary of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) for the year 2024/2025, were accepted yesterday (10) by the Returning Officer Indika Demuni de Silva PC, Solicitor General, at the BASL Auditorium.

Kaushalya Nawaratne PC submitted his nomination papers for the post of President while Chathura Galhena submitted his nomination papers for the post of Secretary. There were no other nominations submitted.

The official communication of the Returning Officer will be announced shortly.
