Oddamavadi Valar Pirai SC beats New Star SC
The Oddamavadi Valar Pirai Sports Club beat New Star Sports Club by 7 wickets and emerged champions of the friendly 20 limited overs cricket match played at Oddamavadi Ameer Ali Stadium Oddamavadi in Batticaloa recently.
New Star Sports Club batting first scored 91 runs for all out in 17.4 overs.
In reply, Oddamavadi Valar Pirai Sports Club scored 92 runs in 11 overs and won the game by 7 wickets.
Asfak Ahmed (38 off 19 balls) and Mohammad Rikas (35 off 28 balls) were the main contributors to the winners.
