The Ministry of Health (MoH) has recruited 2,519 new nurses into the Health service and their Letters of Appointment (LoA) will be presented to them at a ceremony to be held today (17) at Temple Trees, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Health Minister Dr Ramesh Pathirana.
The 2,519 nurses successfully completed the three-year nursing training course from 2018 to January 2020.
