The Railway Department states that permission has not yet been granted to run trains between provinces.

Accordingly, the Railway Department has taken steps to operate trains from Abeypussa, Avissawella, Kochchikade, and Aluthgama railway stations to Colombo Fort and Maradana from tomorrow (05) as in the past few days.
