Police are taking statements from three persons including Bathiudeen’s wife.

The Borella Police have commenced recording statements from three persons including the wife of Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen regarding the death of the slave girl.

The teachers’ union says the strike will continue until a final decision is made.
