Power to Nawalapitiya Urban Council to Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has been able to gain control of the Nawalapitiya Municipal Council which was under the control of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.

It is reported that this has happened during the election held today to elect a chairman for the council.
