Sajith comes forward on behalf of JVP MPs

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has issued a statement regarding the arrest of five persons including former JVP Provincial Councilor Samantha Vidyaratne and Convener of the All Ceylon Agrarian Federation Namal Karunaratne during a protest.

The Leader of the Opposition has further stated that every political party has the right to engage in democratic politics in the country and the government has no right to violate it.
