Sports Minister goes to the Olympics to encourage Olympic athletes.

Youth and Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa leaves for Japan to attend the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

He said in a Twitter post that he hopes to encourage Sri Lankan athletes to join the Olympics and hold discussions with International Olympic Committee officials as well as the Japanese government.
