Sri Lanka becomes the first country to obtain a loan from Bangladesh.

The Bank of Bangladesh is to provide the US $ 50 million to Sri Lanka this week.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka will become the first country to obtain a loan from Bangladesh.

The agreement was signed between the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the Bank of Bangladesh recently.

Under this agreement, the Bank of Bangladesh will provide the US $ 250 million to Sri Lanka in three tranches.
