The allowance of Rs. 2,000 will be given from today.

The Rs. 2,000 allowance given by the government to those who lost their livelihood due to the imposition of the curfew is due to be given from today (23).

It is reported that only low-income families who have not received any allowance from the government are eligible for this allowance.

Accordingly, public servants, retirees, Samurdhi beneficiaries, senior citizens, centenarians, and the disabled will not be eligible for this, the circular said.
