The strike is over due to a written promise made by the Minister of Health.

The relevant trade unions have decided to suspend the continuous strike launched by 14 health trade unions from yesterday (05).

The health union said that the decision to suspend the strike was taken following a written promise given by the Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi that their demands would be resolved.
