The Ceylon Teachers Union states that the online teaching strike launched by the teachers’ principals will continue.

The protest was launched by the Teachers ‘Principals’ Trade Unions demanding the government to eliminate salary anomalies and repeal the Kotelawala Defense Act.

The Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers Union Joseph Stalin stated that the strike will continue until a final decision is reached.
