Thurstanite Navindu Fernando made a century against Maris Stella College Negombo in their fixture of the Under 19 Inter schools 2 day cricket tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association yesterday.
Match drawn at SSC between S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia and Mahinda College Galle. Another match was drawn between Thurstan College Colombo and Maris Stella College Negmobo at Negombo.
Navindu Fernando of Thurstan College Colombo scored 111 runs against Maris Stella College Negombo. Sethru Fernando, right arm off spinner of Thurstan College Colombo claimed 6 wickets for 42 runs against Maris Stella College Negombo.
