Wanindu, Kamindu, Chamari and Kusal nominated for the ICC awards

Sri Lankan cricketers Wanindu Hasaranga and Kusal Mendis have been named among the finalists for the ICC Men’s ODI Player of the Year award for 2024.

Additionally, Chamari Athapaththu, the skipper of the Sri Lankan women’s team, has earned two nominations. She has been shortlisted for the ICC Women’s ODI Player of the Year and the ICC Women’s T20I Player of the Year accolades. Moreover Kamidu Mendis is nominated for the emmerging player of the year.
