Zero interest loans for university students to buy laptops

The Education and Higher Education Ministry announced that a loan scheme is being implemented for students of State universities to purchase laptop computers.

Accordingly, a maximum loan of Rs.75,000 will be given to a university student to purchase a laptop computer through state banks.

The undergraduates who obtain the loan must repay the loan within 36 installments and it is noteworthy that no interest is charged on the loan amount.
